This PMC Masterclass is suitable for all health staff including students, clinicians, nurses, allied health and administration.

PMC specialises in creating teaching workshops that allow participants to have individualised learning experiences.

PMC explores the structure of and skills involved in communication, and the outcomes of health-based interactions. Our immersive interactive role plays look at complex communication problems health professionals face in day-to-day practice.

PMC is a joint venture supported by Northern Sydney Local Health District, University of Sydney Medical School and Friends of the Mater.

To explore all planned workshop topics, you’ll need to attend the full day (two sessions). However, you can choose to attend only one session on the day. Catering is provided.

Note
Registration is limited to 40 participants in each session and closes 24 hours prior to each course.

 

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations seven or more days prior to a workshop receive a 90% refund of the registration fee (i.e. less 10% administrative fee). There will be no refunds after this time.

 

Getting There
Public Transport - St Leonards train station is on the T1 North Shore & Northern Line and is a 10-minute walk from Royal North Shore Hospital.


There are regular buses running between the upper and lower North Shore, Epping, Ryde and Sydney CBD, which stop on the Pacific Highway outside Royal North Shore Hospital.


It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the Highway to the hospital. More information about planning your trip by public transport is available here.

 

Parking
Visitor parking is available in the multi-storey car park, owned and operated by Wilson Parking.
Parking fees are displayed at all entrances to the car park. See Map and Parking Rates for more information. Off-street parking in the area is typically limited to two hours and is often metered.
