The Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) is the peak professional body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students. Its purpose is to grow ethical and professional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors who will lead and drive equitable and just health outcomes for all our peoples.

As a member-based organisation, AIDA has a strong commitment to providing career pathways into and through medicine for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and supporting the growth of this cohort to bring about systemic and meaningful change to the Australian health system.

doctorportal Learning respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of Australia. We respect the traditional owners of lands across Australia in which our members and staff work and live, and pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
